Great find. Looks very similar to that Diamond Back full suspension bike from the same era. It was called the Dual Response or something.

Looking great. Can't beat that classic Marin frame geometry and slim tubes. And for a parts bin build it's come together really nicely.

Some new Smokes on the original wheels. And a spare modern Fabric saddle that I had that matches pretty well. Need to remove the handlebar grips next. But I'm trying to do it carefully as they're original. I have some new ones to use in their place, that I won't be so afraid of tearing.

Nice one. That would be cool. I tried the wheels from my other Marin just to test some knobbly tyres on it. I actually think it looks great with that wider rim as well. And the rim colour matches the handlebars.
