I was catching up my breath and when looked down, saw him. the little guy was so amazed by the look (or the smell :oops:) of my well worn shoes, that he become frozen... 😂 when I found some useful O2 around me, both of us moved on. 👍

if I had a commute like yours... anyhow, managed to take a ride today afternoon. find this ...errr... newly built jumping spot on one of my favourite singletracks a fey days back. a single good word cannot be said, all wrong with it. :mad:

ok, so I went for a ride. after about 2 kms my phone rang, the kid asked 'are you coming to pick me up?' '....ooopss. sure, I'll be there soon! sorry to forget to pick you up!' :eek: went for her, came home, met the wife (she arrived a few mins after us) just to became clear it was not me but...

not the happiest days of my life, to say the least. :( anyhow, a ride is still a ride.

my mom was visitng us on the weekend. when she left for home I went for a ride. it was 2hrs and 42mins 33km. the daguhter was another ride by herself (on the cyclepath) at the same time, which lasted also 2:42. she manged 60kms... :oops: :eek:

I never thought I could get my BB7 so hot to colour the disc and fade all the power of it around here on my 'own' trails. :eek: ...but today I proved that all it takes is only bad braking technic. 👍

short family trip to Isola (SLO). managed to take two ride around town, visiting Koper and Piran.

that saddle looks funny to say the least... 🤭 interesting choice of wheels. aren't they too stiff for that kind of bike? I mean for a rigid mtb a little flex here and there is good, isn't it? those mavics look like hell of a lot if rigidity built in. anyhow, today's ride is (almost) the same...

almost made to the top! :cool: the pics do make it looks much less steep than it is (as usual, of course :D ). the soil is slippery when wet, when dry, so today was almost perfect a few days after the last rain. also, at the 'entrance' timing of the pedals are crucial, easy to lose the balance...

so, in order of the abovementioned words of 'go and ride your f___in' bike' :D, after my morning coffee at 10am, I went for a gentle 30km. after three days of rain, the trails and forest roads were in quite a good nick, only a few puddles here and there.

not much riding pics lately. work related headache killing my mojo (bastards try to kill WFH), so when I am on the bike, my mind is everywhere but taking pics. :(

I can not even imagine, how to use it... 😳

ahh, after four days of rain and a whole work-week of arguing with stupid people about the solution for a non-existent problem, the ride today was a blessing.

38km with the wife :) by the time we got home, the kids made pancakes :)
