Actually I do, the only issue with mine is that is has a different crown, with the bolt-in steerer and missing the two lightening holes. I am happy to do a swap and you switch crown, alternatively to sell you the fork.

If you got a 653 framed Edge for £40 then you got the deal of the decade - a wonderful frame indeed. They don't go for strong money but ride every bit as well as hand built exotica.

Maybe on a good day £150, much of the value is breaking it for parts, frankly. Nobody wants old 26" full sussers with rim brakes. Apart from loonies like us of course. ;)

Just buy at your LBS or a decent online retailer (ideally LBS) to avoid the (high) chance of a fake. My local guy mainly stocks Taya, and they have given me good service, certainly not significantly different to KMC or SRAM.

Nothing at all to do with the bike apart from the shell width (68 or 73mm), all depends on the chainset. Try the Sheldon Brown BB database. My guess is 113mm.

I am not sure that's right, seeming as SRAM changed their shift ratios between 9S and 10S. However one man's 'compatible works perfectly' is another's poor match.

If you are running bar-end shifters then full size V's and Tektro V levers is a good way to go. There is a hidden nightmare in all this with Shimano's change in road lever cable pull in recent years to NSSLR, this may be why you don't get much from the Dia-Compes. Have you tried the Tektro...

But 531ST is a much heavier tubeset being 1.0/0.7mm whereas 531c is 0.9/0.6mm

You mean a freewheel? Plenty available from all the usual bike outlets or your LBS.

TA spacers fit and can be sourced new. iIRC they are 5.5mm but can measure if you get stuck.

Got a Marzocchi Z2 Flylight with a crown off a Z3 and 1" threadless steerer if interested. I'll check steerer length.

Also the extra weight is advantageous for larger frames (like yours) as it's a stiffer frame as a result.
