    Today's Ride

Today was my first big challenge of the year. The 50 mile Cornish Alpine Challenge. 4500+ft of climbing over normally inaccessible challenging offroad areas. (I dont know how War Horse survived without any problems as it was tough). For years I've dreamed of achieving this but health meant...

    Wanted ROCKSHOX boost maxle (15x110)

Bit of a long shot but does anyone by any chance have a front maxle that will fit my Boardman. It's for Rockshox forks, 15x110 (boost). Mine has been damaged and need the bike for my 24hr fundraising challenge in 2 weeks. Thank you.

    Sorted V brake levers

Thanks guys. Turns out I still have a set of clarks levers in my parts bin, thought I'd already used them 🙄. Really don't want to spend much on it as it already owes me more than it's worth (bought another carrera but the frame was bent so had to get another frame) but just building bikes to...

    Sorted V brake levers

Hi. Does anyone have a very cheap set of V brake levers? I'm trying to rebuild a scrap carrera and it's the last bit I need. Typically I have about a dozen scrap bikes but they all have either broken levers or the plastic rubbish. Thanks all.

    Today's Ride

18 mile ride after work tonight. Was treating this as a training ride so was pushing myself but I can't deny that I just wanted to ride into the sunset.

Sold Marin pine mountain f&f - resprayed white and pink and green splatter

Oh I wish I was closer. (To be fair I'm in Cornwall so not exactly close to anyone 😂). The white pine mountain frame and forks is beautiful 😍.

    Today's Ride

No training, no reason, just riding to be free.

    Today's Ride

Today was a good day. My first time back at Cardinham woods since 2019. I did some actual mountain biking. I'm slow, I'm in pain but I loved every second of it.

    Today's Ride

After a couple of difficult days at work I was in agony this morning and my mindset really wasn't where I want it to be. Decided a short ride would help. Ended up doing just over 20 miles which wasn't too bad considering a mile in I was struggling with the pain. It was a reminder of why I'm...

Claud Butler Shinobi (parts bin build)

Another bike I saved from scrap. The main reason I kept it is because of the colour and the fact the frame is in remarkably good condition. I've added some Easton bars, Tioga tyres, modern Lapierre saddle and modern pedals to replace the knackered parts but it rides surprisingly nicely. I'm...

    Today's Ride

Took my most recent build out for a test ride this morning despite the threat of a thunderstorm. Started lovely out on the moors, then the thunderstorm hit. You know it's wet when you have lakes sloshing around in your shoes every pedal rotation 😂.

    Giant ATX1200 (the budget bouncer)

Some of you may know my situation by now but for those who don't, well bikes have been my saviour this past year. I've been trying to build what I can with what I have and still be able to enjoy myself as I'm not letting it beat me. When this frame came up as Karma on here I fell in love with...

    Today's Ride

I'm not sure. It's the 27.5 subway so around 2019/2020 I think. Was going to be scrapped but I saved it and rebuilt it with better components. I can't ride drop bars any more after developing chronic pain syndrome in 2020 but for a bike that cost me £20 to build I love it.

    Today's Ride

It's near St austell in Cornwall. The area is known for its China clay and this is one of the old disused clay pits which has been turned into a lake. There's a 50 mile off road ride here every year which I'm doing in July.

    Today's Ride

A tough 19 mile ride today. Despite a strong wind and this being my 3rd day in a row of hard riding I was feeling brave so took on a route I've been too scared to do. Safe to say I'm aching but have no regrets.

    Today's Ride

Actually went to a proper mountain bike trail today to rebuild my offroad confidence but was distracted by the bluebells.

Wow, did this bike really exist?

Raleigh had several 'wonderful' designs 🤣. I had a Raleigh Max Lite (the same as the picture) recently and it was interesting to say the least. I liked it but then I'm a weirdo 😂

    Today's Ride

Today was a special day. Every year around this time we set ourselves personal challenges in memory of our friend Fran who was an inspiration to many. Today I managed my longest ever solo ride, a 50 mile ride through the moors on Spirit (my Giant Trance). As you can imagine with it being in...

    Today's Ride

To be honest I like them. This was abandoned outside for a year so was a wreck when I got given it. The plan was to fix and sell it back in December but I ended up keeping it. All in it owes me about £20 😂.
