    Colnago Master - Campag 50th

Absolutely lovely😍 and good to see that it will be ridden. If you are switching to 23mm and want to get rid of the 25s I’d be interested in taking them off your hands

    Retroronde 2025

Always a great day out. I am lucky as I only live an hour drive away, but am always impressed by the numbers coming over from the UK. I always have the impression that half of Essex is on the ride:).

    Columbus cromor - Mystery frameset

Merckx were ITA standard, a legacy of Eddy learning from De Rosa. Having said that I would agree with @Battersby , it looks very Moser to me. Whatever it is, if it is the right size and the price is right (and if “unidentified” it should be cheap), it will build up into a very nice bike.

    Peugeot Comete Sprint

Ohh, I had one of those back in the day and it was lots of fu: Very light (for the time) and quick but a little flexy. As others have said, change the brakes as the weinmann’s were not great. Peugeot also did a version with all Japanese kit so old Shimano exage or 105 would do the job. If you...

    Columbus MAX or Reynolds...?

753 has a reputation for this due to the thinness of the tubes. No idea if this is the reality or just the internet echo chamber.

Totally Stoked - Stokes of London

For the hoods have you considered coconut oil? I tried it once on a pair with a 50% success rate. If you think they are dead it might be worth a go as there is nothing to lose. https://thevelocollective.com/restoring-brake-hoods/

Withdrawn Hedgefind Coppi Fiorelli Eroica rat bike

The bike has returned to its homeland and a life in the sun (with, judging by last week, occasional very heavy rain!)

Withdrawn Hedgefind Coppi Fiorelli Eroica rat bike

The Coppi will be going to Gaiole and, one way or another, not coming back (I need the space in the bike bag to bring something else home ;)) It is now any offer considered time:)

Withdrawn Hedgefind Coppi Fiorelli Eroica rat bike

The title says it all but here is the long version of the story. The bike was found in a hedge in Hoegaarden, Flanders (the town where they brew the “white” beer you serve with a slice of lemon). Not by me, but by a local who restores bikes, he stripped off the Matt black paint that covered...

    Sorted Tommasini Velocista Max

Got one! On the large side but it is workable and the Tig welded version rather than lugged but it has the “proper fork” and horses on the top tube:cool: Still a work in progress but getting there.

    Sancineto Beauty photoshoot.

Very nice! When it was for sale I has half an eye on it, but had no room in the garage. Enjoy it, it is a real beauty😀

Frame ID - Concorde Aquila 1986? Ciocc?

I had an Aquila with SL rather than SLX tubes, so an 84 or 85 (I guess) the bottom bracket cut out looks similar, but the Panto on the Lugs were the Concorde logs and there was the Italian flag brazed on the top tube. This should suggest that your frame is a Ciocc but probably/possibly not an...

My Italian and Belgian bikes.....and an American entered the chat

I am always late to the party: a great collection and as a Max fan I am deeply envious.😍. Is the Simoncini Columbus SLX with a Max fork?
