It does look weird your right, but that was actually intended as there are hidden chris king specific aluminum drifts hidden under those steel stepped ones. The steel drifts are just for extra support on the bar & plate

Re: Today the Hadleys arrived...dismantled the wheels & opened them up to check pawl condition etc, fresh cartridge bearings and a overall clean out of the old lube. Thinking of lacing them up to some Syncros Altrax rims this weekend.
