For sale, Alpinestars cromega DX. Not sure of value, so will start at £400. Sorry if this is way off, but no idea really. Had it since new (1991), completely original spec except saddle and the addition of onza porcipaw grips and bar ends. XT front mech and DX chainset, brakes...

First off, hello all, new to this forum. Met a few of you the other week at the Purbecks ride. Really enjoyed riding my alpinestars for the first time in 16 years, can't believe how good a rigid bike felt after so long. Shame about the stem cracking as that brought my fun to a premature end...

Thanks for the ride, really enjoyed it. I'm now looking to get rid of my on one 456 to fund somthing modern and rigid because i enjoyed riding it so much. This may however also mean flogging my old bike, so does anyone have an idea how much my Alpinestars (the one in the photos) is worth...
