    2009 ORANGE FIVE

I've had this a few years now bought from Madmax of this parish. It's undergone several "rebuilds" and is currently being tried as a 69er, I've measured the swing arm but I have to admit it wont fit a 27.5 at the rear. So far I'm enjoying the current build especially in rock gardens. Here's some...

East Dartmoor adventures on the Marin - Edited Extra Exmoor Epilogue

I was based in West Berks but my job took me all over the country. I kept a Lava Dome single speed in the boot so I tried to ride after work as much as I could, (healthier than solo drinking in the hotel bar on expenses). I had quite a library of MTB ride books plus "tear out maps" from the...

Eccentric bottom bracket. Any one used / fitted one?

How did it work out, what make did you use? Wanting to make my SS look leaner / cleaner. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Orange Sub3 Single speed shake down ride thoughts.

Not finished yet but it now sports a shorter stem with the fugly remote lockout fitted, whilst 30 20 gearing seems to work for me. Still to come will be a carbon bar. Here's some recent pictures.

    Orange Five opinions (2011-2012)

Beach cruising but not on a Beach Cruiser.

I did a XC race from here about 10 years ago and always promised myself to ride some of it again only slower this time. I found 32 X 18 a bit too spinny today but when are you ever in the right gear? Here's some pics from today.

    Orange 222 Team Animal Replica

Great thread about a great bike, looking forward to updates. I'm interested to know anything more you can remember about the Sub3 as I'm currently running one as a single speed.

    On-One Inbred SS titanium info

The originals were made by Litespeed, later they added an extra support to reinforce the brake area, (this is the best one to buy). Still later the Ti frames were made by Van Nicholas. I guess they started selling these about 2007 but can't remember when they were withdrawn. I've ridden the...

Orange Sub3 Single speed shake down ride thoughts.

I've had this for some years now, but always as a geared bike with a long fork. All of my previous Single speeds have been hardtails or solids so this was a bit of a departure for me. Full disclosure, I had to push/walk much of that hill behind. Surprisingly, I learnt that even 32 X 20...
