Hi guys. I'm building a 2002 kona stab primo to period spec. I'm trying to find a seatpost to fit the age of this bike and I was wondering how old are Thomson seat posts? I know they still make them now but when were they first released? Would one look out of place on a 2002 bike?? Thanks!

Re: I was thinking of having it sprayed around the headtube by a guy I know who does car bodywork. The standard of finish I'm aiming for is quiet high and I'm not that good with rattle cans!! Thanks for the idea though. But if the guy I know can't or won't do it for any reason I might have to...

Re: 1999 Kona Stinky restoration for the sake of nostalgia! Ive got the main frame back from the powder coaters. Looks like this Looks awesome. It's a really good colour match. I've just got to get the headtube sprayed black now and then I can finish it and build it.

Looking good Ian. A friend of mine had this exact frame back in the day. He used to break everything but he never managed to break that frame! I've you ever want to sell those forks message me!

Re: So I've got the swing arm back from the powder coating shop. Very pleased with the results. The finish is excellent. As you can see I've rebuilt the swing arm using brand new bushes, bolts and bearings throughout. Also fitted a new mech hanger and bolt. Note the gloss swing arm and...
