Not 100% if it's a 1a although that does ring a bell. Really sorry, it was so long ago that I was collecting up all these parts for my project and I had not restored a vintage bike prior to that. This is what the top looks like. hope that helps:

If I understand the bit you are referencing, that part features a little logo on which is a C inside of a sideways diamond. The same logo can be seen on the inside page of the copyright 1975 Campy 17a. the same catalogue has the brakes in but the scan copy I have is not so clear. From...
