Thanks @3wheeler7 I have no Sports models of those years (possibly an early-mid '40s Sports with no date stamp on hub; and a 64-65) so no drops. Are those bar/stems one piece or two? So for a 5 year period Raleigh made a Sports that actually looked "sporty" instead of utilitarian; very interesting.

Another Italian to add to the mix; a salvaged Rossin frame from the mid 80s; was going to be tossed out! Maybe Record model? TT guides were ground/cut-off when I got it. Needs full restore due to surface rust. @Psimpson any ideas as to the model since I see you have a couple Rossins? I cannot...

From my ride in early Autumn while trekking to one of my hill climbing "parks". Roadside "dog show" of custom painted works of art for charity auction. It was an interesting and an enjoyable break in the ride. Here are a few of the "best of show" IMO:

Sorry I have not been online for awhile. While out on the Frankenbike Lemond Alpe d'Huez I came across a weird streetside "dog show" as I was passing through a town heading for the hills earlier this Fall. I will post a few more photos as a separate thread since there were about 30 or more...
