    Wanted 26.8 seat post

Tatty is fine as long as it’s not dented or hideously corroded. Needs to be a reasonable length 200mm +. Micro adjust or clamp fit, steel or alloy, as long as it would suit a pre-80’s bike.

    At last, a Dave Yates.

Back in the ancient mists of time……well, 1983, or thereabouts, I was a spotty, skinny youth who discovered cycling. Around about then and for many years after I was skint so thumbing through Cycling Weekly and Bicycle Magazine was as close as I could get to a proper bike from a proper builder. I...

Wanted Wanted engineer or bike mechanic

Are you trying to convert to a standard BB size? If so, there used to be screw-in adaptors. I used one in a static trainer. I can find one online that converts from US BMX size and if that’s the same as the old UK BMX it might do the job.

For Sale Campagnolo Record 8 speed Erogopower groupset

To be fair, you’re not doing much to warrant the asking price: Dirty stuff could hide a lot of neglect and wear. You don’t say whether the wheels are tubs or tyres. The photos are poor and don’t help with the above.

    For Sale Immaculate Cannondale R500

It’s 61cm to the very top of the seat tube, which sticks out a fair bit so it would be comparable to a 59cm regular steel frame, in my estimation - and the length of the head tube pretty much confirms that.

1996 ish, 61cm to top, 57cm TT. in near ‘out-of-the-box’ condition. £350 RSX triple groupset 2 owners, the first clearly didn’t like it as there is no wear on the rims whatsoever. Every component suggests this bike has lain idle its entire life. The only distraction is a bit of rust pushing...

    TT Legends Bike Re-Born

What a fantastic story. Thanks for making it happen. Ian Cammish was The TT Legend when I first faced the clock. His association with Brian Rourke by that time meant I always wanted a BR frame and I’m happy to say that has just recently happened for me so now I can at least look down at the name...
