i have received the money and the bike will be repaired and as good as new! this has had to be the most pain free accident ever ha ha i hope if any of you are unlucky enough to get involved in an accident then it all goes as smoothly. also thanks to www.ridebike.co.uk for the help

thanks for the replies guys i popped it into the lbs and its been evaluated at a new front wheel and labour. the young lady who ran me over has been very forthcoming in sorting things out and is going to forward me the money straight away apparently. Im just awaiting the bank transfer...
