out on the trail again this weekend for a brodie themed ride.

had this one out for it's maiden voyage on the long easter weekend. it was quite a nice ride. the LX stuff worked like butter. shifting was effortless. very enjoyable. here are few more pictures.

across the water that would be the north shore. which is known for some great riding.

that doesn't look like any nishiki i have ever seen. not that i am saying i am an expert on nishiki. all the gussetting around the head tube is unusual. what leads you to think it is a nishiki?

well said. i can appreciate a personalized build. it would get boring quick if we all did the exact same build on the same bike every time. i was joking with the syncros comment. bit tongue in cheek.

it has been a very productive weekend so far. beers and bikes with vintageman several days this weekend has produced some results. he is an A1 mechanic. many thanks dude.

as far as builds go for me this one went real fast. it is mostly a parts bin build. done with bits i had and a bike i had donated to me from a friend. i did buy the derailleurs i wanted to match the free stuff i aquired.

you might have noticed that i painted the crown on the gatorblade. generally they are bare aluminum or a few were annodized. this one was in kind of rough shape, very pitted. so i got harald to put extra primer and paint on it to smooth it out. i also want to go for this look that was the norm...
