I use the Madison/M-Part Elite lower EC44/40 (HPT531) when I need to fit a tapered fork to a straight 1 1/8 headtube. RRP is £35 but it looks like you can get them online for around £25. Cheaper than the Wolf Tooth and Cane Creek versions...

Fully original and complete Shimano 105 1055/1056 groupset in VGC. All date stamped V for 1997. Chainset is 52/42, 175mm crank arms. Threads and tapers all good, rings have plenty of life left in them. 8-speed STIs are pretty clean and fully functional. Hoods are fully intact and not tacky...
