I am, just had an email to notify me of a post.

Muddyfox being a tange builder would likely have continued to use tange tubing. A bike like this is probably made from prestige tubing, unless there is anything on the frame marking it as anything else. It’s only a guess but for a zingy steel frame made in the Far East it’s highly likely.

I can't be 100% certain but I thought mine had a cromoly double butted sticker? Having said that I weighed the build on some basic scaled at just over 25lb.

Hi

I’ve just got the same frame as this and think of my build, how did this one turn out, do uou still have some pics, would loved to see them?! Thanks

I had a purple Muddy fox Monarch team stolen in London in 2011 from near Nelson’s column. It had a ‘mint sauce’ sticker on the center of the handlebars and I had had it since the early nineties. I was a mature student at the time in London. I was totally suprised it was stolen as the gear were wrecked. Also absolutely gutted as it had been a bday present when I was like 11 or 12 yrs old and had continued to use it until the time it was stolen. I go on the Internet now and then trying to track it down and came across this post. Interested to know what happened to it and where you found it
