Wow! .. this has been going on some time
As an alternative.. any small machine shop should be able to turn a series of these out of brass rod.. part them off and drill trough the center.. then it's just a case of heating them up with a brazing torch and bending them into shape..
edit- whoops! i thought you'd found one, you were just missing the brass noodly bit.
