Anyone into classic furniture

I have an Astro too but it's looking a bit tired. It doesn't respond well to Danish oil as it seems to be sealed with some kind of varnish - is this normal? ...the G-Plan chairs and sideboard are a raw teak finish and polish up nicely...

I have been collecting bits on and off for 25 years, I don't have room for it all now so have mostly stopped picking bits up (aside from lamps and light fittings, there is always room for those). I don't currently have pictures but have a few Eames DKR, DKX and LKX chairs, a couple of Ernest Race bits, an Arne Jacobsen stool, A Jo Colombo trolley, Aalto stool, some Ercol. The lamps comprise mostly MacLamps, Lyfa and my favourite a Preben Dal (below), I have also been leaning into more of the Po-Mo stuff (just hot an Arteluce Club light) but its hard to get away with the stuff I really like cos its considered ugly! I also have 60s/70s cutlery, glassware, serving platters, textiles, ornaments and pictures, its a 60s house but I am often reigned in so it 'doesn't look like a museum' :-)

It’s very possible I’ve misremembered, I thought I used oil but I might be wrong. I’ve just looked up the sold listings on eBay for an Oval Astro (as they are apparently called). Definitely need to keep the kids away from mine!
