The RC36 Evo Pro Class Limited is a very limited run of forks that ran alongside the RC36 EVOII. They were made to use up leftover parts at the Pace factory. Since they had run out of RC36 Pro Class crowns, they had these crowns made to match the ‘Radiator’ crowns that came in on other forks during 1999. Technically, the fork is the same as a 1998 Pro Class, but it features new decals to match 1999 forks. It’s probably only 150 of made
Bought from eBay 3months ago and never used, original info from the seller/1st owner is:
Pace RC-36 EVO 1998-99 Vintage. These have the fully machined EVO radiator crown, titanium ceramic coated stanchions & carbon bridges.
I purchased these in 1999 and have used, cleaned and meticulously maintained them ever since.
As you can see from the photo's I think you would struggle to find a cleaner set of forks of this vintage.
They have had the decals replaced by myself about 7 years ago with genuine pace decals. They use to have the silver and orange Evo decals but they are no longer available. The new decals are in very good order other than the centre of the 'G' on 'racing' is missing on the left leg, see photo.
There are a few small patches were the titanium ceramic coating is polished off from use. This doesn't affect function in any way.
Specification:
Travel: 90mm
Length: 455mm
Steerer: Straight gauge aluminium 1 1/8" currently cut to 200mm long
Double carbon fibre bridges
CNC machined 6082-T6 V-brake mounts, wiper seal housings and drop outs.
Total weight = 1620g
Included is the original owners manual which includes the comprehensive spec sheet, setup guide, full maintenance including stanction removal.
Also included is the original grease port gun full of Pace grease.
These have been setup for me at a weight of 75kg
£135ono + shipping (F&F or pay the fee)
