Bottom bracket sizing

Hi all.just after some help.have this nice old Carrera quattro competition frame. Think it's got wrong size spindle length in bottom bracket.chainset seems to be too far out from frame.would anyone have an idea of the correct size spindle length please.gratefulbfor any info.thanks

Best bet is to see what's in there and then go from there. It's not always the case but I find the majority of triple cranks are 113.
 
Axle length is dictated by the crank.....not the bike. Tell us the crank details and hopefully somebody can tell you the size for that crank.
 
The crank arms should have the model on.

Older triples are 122.5 btw.....or 124.....or if its a bit newer 107, 110, 113....😂

You really need the model...
 
Hi.bike doesn't have original crank arms fitted.previous owner of frame had fitted a BB but I think spindle is too wide.might try 68x113
