ishaw Gold Trader GT Fan Feedback View Aug 20, 2025 #2 If the forks and head tube are both designed to be compatible, i.e. 1 1/8 then yes. New headset, stem and you'll need a fork mounted canti cable mount to run a front brake matching the rear.

gtturbo Senior Retro Guru Aug 21, 2025 #4 Personally I would try and resurrect those Pace forks. A few places have replacement elastomers and they are easy enough forks to service yourself. Edit - Mind you has someone taken the brace off from the rear of the fork ?. If so do you have it ?.
