Your right! As a child of the 70's and 80's (not again!)...those cars which had been high fashion and of the moment did not age well in the 80's imo. But now I love most of them

I prefer rim braked racers. I think their making bicycles too complicated?

Yup recently purchased a Kona Kapu, with a full 105 groupset and a CAAD3 with a Campag group. Change from £70 for the two. I've always been ahead of the fashion...which is the same as being out of fashion I suppose!. Early 2000s disc-braked aluminium MTB hardtails with air forks I predict for the next fad.

Out-of-date enough to be plentiful.

I'm not bitter but my mum was very much into hand me downs. So as my brother got bigger I got it all. The problem was that in the early 1980's I was the only scout in my troop who was wearing flares!!!
