Here in USA in the Pacific Northwest - Seattle and Portland have a reputation as being (relatively speaking) "bicycle friendly". Not sure exactly how that came to be - could be the mild weather, could be the people - who knows? For a good number of years there has been an annual gathering of classic bike enthusiasts held a few miles east of Seattle at the home of a gentleman involved in the industry for a long time. Bring your classic bikes, enjoy a social ride, have lunch and meet others with a similar interest.
This year was no exception. A good time was had by all.

Next to last pic in the Flickr album is Bill Davidson (L) with Bob Freeman - I think it is safe to say that this year's 'display theme' was a tribute to Davidson bikes and many bikes built using Davidson lugsets.
