I just knew it would look good but now the headset is actually fitted it's one of those wow moments for me when you stand back and look at the bike, it's just perfect in my eyes,it blends with the purple and with the other colours depending which way your looking at the bike.

I know where coming from i'm already looking at the bike thinking oh god what if this happens what if that happensThat's gonna be gorgeous, I think I would be too worried about riding it....paint chip phobia
Cheapo me would rattlecan gold an impact headset
It's got the vibe of my first ever 89 Explosif when i built it up with all the parts being nos. I literally wouldn't ride it, because of daft things like if i put my feet on the pedals the paint might get damaged, if i pull the brakes the pads will wear i don't think i set the gears up just so i didn't have to put wear on the chainrings or casette
Never ever will i build a bike again with all nos parts, i can just about cope with a nos headset

Gold bolts arrived today just waiting for the seatclamp bolt now and another box of Deore XT goodies arrived, i love Deore XT for me it's just the best groupset
