Just received some BBs for the build, Ti or XT? Leaning towards the Ti one for this build. Should work well with the crankset. Am currently looking for brifters that can run ip to 3x8 can you guys recommend something that will work well with say M730 or M900 derailleurs and HG cassettes?

Are these good and would these have the correct pull ratios for the Shimano derailleur's and cassette I plan on using? This is where I struggle with matching up components. So appreciate for any advice/feedback.

I believe 8 speed Campag has 5 mm sprocket spacing, where Shimano is 4.8mm. So it won't play nicely unfortunately. 😕

10-speed campag works perfect whit 8sp shimano - thy have the same cable pull which is what’s important in this case

I have put up a poll for some help in drivetrain direction. I should give some background. I will mostly ride tarmac and gravel trails. My last ride was 30ish kilometers with my Rampage and the rear 8 speed cassette with front center chainring was all I needed for the entire trip. Find myself rarely using the front derailleur and I really prefer simplicity for my rides. I do however like things somewhat retro and nostalgic. Love the old Salsas and Potts’ with drop bars and LD stems but WTB shifter mounts are hard to find and out of the budget. I did find some Kelly Take Offs that are affordable and could go that route, then there’s the Suntoir Command shifters…..you can see my dilemma lol.
