The family grows: Marin Team Titanium '97

Then her little sister arrived, rebellious and crazy, when she arrives everyone looks at her, she is spectacular and can be heard from far away, she is very noisy
Aluminum of course

But something was missing: the class and style of steel with the lightness and madness of aluminum.
Titanium, of course.
I'd been waiting for it for a long time; it seemed like a long wait, but it finally arrived.

The truth is, I recently anodized the Marin Monocoque, but I like that color and think it suits this frame very well. In any case, a nice Tiso headset paves the way for anodizing.
The AMP fork has been recently overhauled.
The stem is a classic Spanish EDR titanium, in the same color, and an Answer Hyperlite carbon handlebar. I actually use it on the Rocky Mountain Element SC and love it, but I also like the Easto CT2 that I use on the Gianta ATX 800. Any of them would work, but an Answer came up first, and I didn't think twice.

I think a Syncros Ti bottom bracket is a good addition.
I've replaced the badly worn decals on the stem with the more updated and distinctive yellow EDR version. Stainless steel bolts are also replacing the rusty originals.
The rear derailleur was more complicated: since I was using Tiso, I wanted to stick with that brand. I couldn't find anything other than the road version, but suddenly the MSC version, manufactured by Tiso and used by the Liberto-Megamo team, appeared.
It's very, very nice, and well worth the effort.
The seatpost has been with me for half a lifetime, about 30 years.
A beautiful Alien carbon seatpost with silver logos that will look great with the frame color. I also have a complete spare head in case it breaks or goes "cri-cri."

Well, we have some nice FRM cranks that would go really well with the Italian rear derailleur and headset.
All that was left was to polish them and put on new decals (probably laser engrave them). It was a quick thing to do (polishing them, since making the file for the decal/engraving takes me a lot longer).
Unfortunately, they don't work for me; they require a much longer axle, possibly 118 mm.

I think I have a solution.

Well, since I chose a Tune crankset, I'll also choose a Tune seat clamp. The Tune Sattelspanner Sattelklemme Titan Ac 9 19 is very nice.

The small ring is a 20-tooth Blackspire that allows me to use an 11/27 cassette (a slightly modified 12/27 Dura-Ace).

I wanted to put all the rings in black, but my wife liked the black/titanium/black combination...just for once, she'd say, "I'll sell everything you have!"
And in addition to the Dura-Ace cassette, I also had two Dura-Ace 7700 chains, so it's a winning combination. I've used it on many bikes; it works very well.
The lower cable gland is the classic Shimano one, but I'll put a blue aluminum bolt on it. It's not visible; I could put any color on it, but it's a nice touch.
The crank bolts are SRP, also blue, of course.
