Great news. Ebay drops seller charges!

So after another chat session regarding an item I sold 6 days ago but still no funds released, I have been told;
Agree to purchase the pre-paid label.
Download it.
Go back to the order where you can now see tracking info.
Change the tracking number to whatever number you used yourself.
This is the answer to my situation, albeit that it takes a bit more effort on my part. The eBay representative assures me that they are constantly working on improving sellers experience.
I'm sure that given time, all this will get better/easier, just not convinced that less tech-savvy newcomer's to eBay will see it being worth the hassle.

Some (newbie?) sellers, they don't release the cash until the buyer marks it as collected - so if you forgot to do the collection code on a pickup, they get alarmed thinking you still need to pay them, despite the money already being taken by ebay's payment partner.

It's alright, I always believe that you will be able to look back and laugh at most things and we do have a laugh about this. Is she ok?

She's fine now.. it was a couple of years ago, she fell on the ice and shattered it.. it was all wonky when i got home from work, just looking at it, made me feel queasy 🤢 i had to sit down.. 😁 the surgeon tried to pull it straight while she was holding the hospital bed and biting an oversized lolly stick between her teeth.. that didn't work so they put a splint on it and booked her in for the same surgery you've had.. 2 years later the scar has almost vanished.

I'm sure that given time, all this will get better/easier..

It sounds like someone has been on the opiate based pain medicine again.. 😁

Given time, the only thing that naturally gets better is the level of entropy in the universe.
Ebay algorithms, amazon driving, respect for cyclists - its a constant struggle

Hasta la Victoria, comrades,
but don't hold your breath...

Order, Order!
We're digressing from bashing braindead idiots in charge of ebay to bashing braindead idiots in charge of everything else.

One thing I've noticed with ebay these days - once the listing goes beyond the first one-two weeks it starts getting close to 0 clicks. It never used to be like that. Either the ebay traffic is a fraction of what it used to be, or their new paid promo algorithms are messing up the non-paid listing visibility.

Ebay sells both new and used -

My feeling as an occasional "used" business seller, is that they aren't really interested in me, so I get really high charges.

Bulk "new" sellers get a much lower charges - as do "used" private sellers.

As a "used" buyer, I get a good deal.

I think they maintain the ebay "used" market/zero fees to keep users on the ebay platform to buy new stuff of the bulk sellers.
