Hi. I'm new on here and new to retro bikes. So I have a steel frame Youngs road bike with sunrace rear derailleur, Huret front derailleur. Courier Plys GB made brake calipers. Alloy wheels and michelin sports tyres that are totally shot.
The reason for posting is that I wonder if it's best to do a full restore with new paint and decals, if I can get them, or to give it a deep clean but maintain the current patina.
