Found in my local classifieds...

Now a trike/cargo bike in typical German fashion. I have work colleagues that only keep their car because they need it to buy their sparkling water on the weekends, and this bike is designed exactly for that. You can also add your 12 pack of favorite beer, of course! Model Draisin Shopi, currently for 600€

A TCR Once .... with campagnolo etc 350euros. I don´t know how sizes works in road bicycles but I like this one a lot . Except for the wheel set, it is not the original. The other problem is that I don´t know what to do with a road bicycle ... some single tracks? 😬

same problem here, no use at all for a road racing bike.

Other than that, I do really like those Giant TRC models. Already back in time I found them cool.
Giant has tried Mid to End of 90ties to use the compact and sloping top tube frame design popular for MTBs also for RR models.
The picture at the right of this Ad from 98 is showing this quite nicely.

And yes, for such a TCR there is only one proper wheel set, the original Giant Ext (the typcial Giant component brand at the 90ties) with those thick carbon spokes

Today, a couple of examples of "what did you do to the seat tube"? I can only think of 2 scenarios:
-someone asked the summer intern to design a bike with a "new approach"
-there were some funky shaped spare tubes in the warehouse and someone had an idea

They bring nothing but weight and uglyness, but for sure nobody else had the same bike in your suburb.

An "Alex Competition". Alex is the white brand of sports equipment for a big department store in Germany, not sure if this is related. 10€

And this one claims to be a Giant, not sure if the stickers are genuine. 50€

both ugly, strange and on the other hand a bit interesting at the same time

A bike at the first glance a bit similar like the Alex was offered around Millenium also from the Volkswagen accessory group
There are different spec versions, up to dual crown fork and spengle wheels

The other one made me immediately think of the Klein Palomino from 2002

Just found recently another similar one, also in Classifieds in Germany, a Dual slalom or pump track bike sold from Christian Taillefer while he had is own bike brand beginning of this century. I think this is actually pretty cool, isn't it?
