Spotted on the street

Read an article about these the other day - here

Bridgestone’s from that era are so cool, and quite innovative; MB-1 already had drop bars in 1988?
Oooh thanks for that. Couple of XO build links after the article as well, inspirational stuff!

Not exactly "on the street", more "upstairs in the attic of an expensive shop that happens to be on a street"

Columbus tubed Bianchi, gorgeous condition. I don't think it's for sale, just behind it is the hifi section, the shop owner was lounging and listening to records nearby

Not vintage, but spotted an unusual cockpit setup, so I chatted with the owner a minute.

Khs UrbanXCAPE. 3x8, v brakes, butted steel... 20250527_155136.webp
But I was really interested in the microshift setup on the right side. It turns out, the owner is paralyzed in the left hand, so he had the shop (Bicycle World, the best one in town!) flip the shifter for the front derailleur upside down and mount it on the top of the bar. 20250527_155145.webp
