Italian Aero style spokes

Just came across a box of stainless steel spokes made in Italy .

They are named as ' One Gross ' on the box

At first sight they appeared to be double butted spokes however on

closer inspection they are of aero profile but still small enough to

go through a standard spoke hole . Has anyone heard of these or

had any experience using them

Surely one gross refers to the quantity in the box?
There are several slightly aero spokes that are still thin enough to fit through a standard spoke hole without slotting it first

I did not associate one gross with Italian metric measurements !

I now realise they are OCI spokes though there is no name on the box

The spoke head is slightly textured

For my 'rummage in the shed' build I recycled a pair of old wheels built with aero spokes. They were originally used for time trialling and ran tubular tyres so I rebuilt them with new Mavic Open Pro clinchers. Five of the spokes twisted on removal and were replaced with Swiss DT double butted ones.
I can't say I noticed any difference whilst building. The wheels trued up well and and have no problems with the atrocious roads round here!
