Frame is NOT broken, the glue between aluminium lugs and titanium downtube is getting loose. LBS said it can be fixed. I've ride the bike offroad with this issue. The wheels weren't the originals. Needed wheels and saddle to built new Zaskar. gr Carin

Here is my '93 Zaskar LE. ( ok, a tiny 14,5" :D ) This is an older picture, now a total XTR 950 with V-brakes :D and red Flite sadle. (and a new non retro Race Face carbon seatpost, matching the handlebar) [/img]

I use the bike for what it's made for :D Also would never sell it. Is't almost perfect the way it it now. (except the shifters and v-brakes) Still looking for XTR 953 Shifters and v-brakes. Ik think, my Zaskar is the most beautifull Zaskar of the Retroforum :D

Thanx, Still searching for 8 sp Shimano shifters. They are hard to find. Also want to change the stem for a more racy one. But I already proud of the result.
