    I wont need to the XT brakes are here, just need to find a suitable cable stop for the front (Kona stem is built in but I'm using Ringle, as per pics

    Thanks for taking the time to review. I'm slowly getting all the XT brakes, so I'll try them both. I suspect the XT will be for show and the Maguras for using. Concur with project 2 stickers, if I ever do bom I'll bin them off. Cables, that's a new comment I'll have to take a closer look later...

    Thanks for your kind comments. Nice detail, I think Dave was using at the beginning of the year and I’m assuming xtr came out part way through the year. Plus availability for a new groupo might have been challenging.

    How much are these Pace forks worth? I had them rebuilt by fork English (Tim) with new seals etc, including the correct sticker set, so it is a really nice fork now. It was great when I used it for a few months before I got the opportunity to buy a NOS Pace RC36 which was the fork I wanted...

    The Peaty bike had some unique components from memory, didn't think he would sell that, as he has raved about it previously in articles. I'll bare you in mind though, if I change my mind about keeping it. Need to switch out the brakes now though, so on the hunt for XT brakes in good condition...
