Hi folks, I am doing up a early 80's Raleigh Record Sprint. The bike only came as a frame. I have tried to fit some 700c Mavic MA wheels 700c with QR hubs. The rear fits fine but the front won't go in as the fork crown won't accept it. Is there a fix for this and why does this occur? Any ideas...

Hi all, quick update. Nearly there with the Ladies bike for 'Er Indoors'! Changed the colour scheme as the Salmon pink powder coat didn't look quite right so went for white with contrasting transfers. Just need inner tubes and cables cutting. Pleased with the overall result.
