I bought this one today, thinking to move the full XT M739 set over for my '98 Lava Dome, but the frame was kind of cool so I might keep it like this.
But I've never heard about Aspen Colorado bikes.
Doesn't seem like Google have heard about it either...
Does anyone here know something about...
Here's my new favorite toy; 1995 Kona Kula

Thanks guys!
No commuting here ...yet ;)
It's been many many years since I last repaired/put together a bike. So I bough this frame to see if I still could do it. My hands was still magic 8)
I've put together three Kona's the last two weeks
I actually have two '99 Scott Racing Comp...
Hi
I don't collect or ride BMX, and I think the last one I had was back in 1989 so I have no clue at all about this.
But today I found this in a salvation store for about £30/€35 and I just had to buy it :)
I've tried to google but can't find any information.
So if someone knows anything about...
I bought a 1998 Kona Lava Dome frame last week, and used a 1999 Scott Racing Comp as a donor for parts since they almost use the same parts :)
Just need a chain, adapter for the front derailleur and some new wiring before I can hit the road.
I'm using a 8.125" (shoe size 9) and find that to be fine both on street and in the bowl.
I might change up to 8.25" for my next deck, for more stability, or like you say; the toes hang off the deck.
I also have a 9.5" which I bought to use in the bowl. It's really heavy, but a lot more...
I've been a vegetarian for five years now, though 98% of the meals at home are vegan.
Just waiting for some really really gooood vegan cheese before I go vegan ;)
