A little reassurance required please. Am I right in thinking older m510 chainrings (middle specifically) fit perfectly well on a m660 crank? All being 9 speed. BCD is the same obviously, It's more the lateral position of the middle ring that I'm thinking of, whether composite rings are chubbier...

To close the thread, the 26.8 post fits perfect. Now I just need to transfer everything over from the damaged Comp.

Yeah I saw that. The 27mm post I bought for it wouldn't fit. Gave that post to a mate who needed a 27mm post and he's still using it. So I don't think it's 27mm. Pretty sure it's going to be 26.8 ... but confirmation would be really helpful.

Morning all. Would anybody know the precise diameter seatpost required for a '92 Stumpy Pro (light blue/aquamarine)? I think it may be different to the '92 Comp frame, one of which I accidentally customised yesterday on a greasy supermarket car park corner. I've seen 27mm mentioned but I reckon...

If anybody has a rear (or set of) 9spd M770 XT shifter they don't need please quote me a price posted in UK. Must be mechanically good. Don't need the indicator window, can do without bolts and cable adjuster, just need the working shifter pod. Cheers muchly.
