There was a place in Barnsley that used to sell them at reduced prices - I've an idea that they were intended for export.
Just finished rebuilding a Retro MTB - a Raleigh Peak - about 1994 I think. K2 Cromoly tubeset, lugged frame. Blue with orange transfers (worn off thank goodness). 7 speed XT gear train with Xt thumbies.

Check that the steerer is reamed to take a quill stem before you think about threading.
The tools are expensive, although I have a set if you are anywhere near (Cambs).
I bought one of these from 7dayshop a couple of weeks ago.
The memory card died after the first use (and I've heard of other people having the same problem) and the quality isn't as sharp as my MUVI type camera.
PS, Maplin have the MUVI at under £30 at the moment.

Eleven of us set out at about 11am covering the trails on the Brandon side of the woods, and kept together as a group riding at a steady pace.

Looks right to me. I think this was the largest size they did anyway. My biggest is a 20".
The 1" head tube and low saddle may throw the proportions a bit.
