Indeed they do - many thanks for the tip off. However, I'm baulking at the price (about £50). I only started by trying to get an abandoned Dawes back on the road but its turning out to be a more expensive business than I thought!
Just changed from a 6 speed cassette to a freewheel set-up. The cassette had 30 teeth on 1st gear but the last thing I really want to do is to go for a 28 teeth job (It was hard enough with 30!). So.....looking for a 6 speed freewheel with 30 or more teeth on 1st gear. I'd happily go for 32...

OK. Many thanks. I think I have now sourced a suitable wheel locally and have another option if that falls through. Good to know that these old (sorry - retro!) bikes are still being used.
Well, so far my quest is failing so, given I have a (distant) relation living in London, who knows, may be, if all else fails, I/we could sort something out.
I'm new to cycling but trying to rescue a Dawes Civic which has a buckled back wheel. I'm trying to keep as many original parts on it as I can so want to stick with the 6 speed changer. I'm happy to change the rear wheel but I'm struggling to find one that will fit. Current (bent) rear wheel is...
