Re:
Looking at the catalogue descriptions given it would be a Cresta as the base paint is Violet Blue.
Still has the SR stem, bars and chainset with Weinmann brakes and wheels
Hello all,
I have just acquired a Claude Butler frame that has been sprayed up at some point (badly!), so there are no distinguishing features to be had from the paintwork.
However the serial number can be made out to be 036537.
Has anyone any idea as to what it may be?
Thanks in advance...
Re:
After a bit of research I think I've found the solution.
The fronts are 5/16 UNF and the rears are 3/8 UNF.
Stig's Stainless Fasteners do them.
Cheers
Looking to get some domed wheel nuts for my '79 Raleigh Europa I'm restoring.
They seem to be different sizes.
Can anyone tell me what sizes they are...and where to get the domed nuts to fit?
Thanks
