Tim for me as well. I remember an interview with him where he said his hill-climbing power came from doing a paper round around Matlock as a young lad. I've always thought back on that when riding a Peak District hill, especially Jacobs Ladder.

As the Turkey twizzler at Cannock has been cancelled will any of you be riding in the Ticknall/Ashby/Charnwood area on Monday? I know the forecast may not be good, just wondered if anyone was still planning to try and ride?

Sorry to hear this is off, I was thinking tonight that last year was tricky, especially on the fire-roads. Rob, will you be riding in the Ticknall area Monday? I'll post this question on the East Midlands board.

I'm hoping to be there with another box of trash to distribute. Just need to sort out a lift. Hopefully my brother Mat will get his singlespeed Giant Cadex running sweet for it and will get to ride this year.
