Tyres are absolutely fine, phew!

People do ride with them (see Instagram), but it carries a risk, as with anything of this age. I'd suggest for show or very light occasional riding.

Very cool. A friend had a Topanga, and it was a fun, interesting ride. The Reseda to the Sea race was exceptional. I remember it being dry with sun and a cool breeze, which made for great riding.
