On a sunny Sunday afternoon yesterday, I sought some professional help. The headset was replaced with a Shimano XTR M901, which conveniently was a direct replacement height-wise for the Tioga. Great idea. I'm slowly swapping the purple parts over, starting with the headset. I want black hubs and would have to go for XT, as Suntour didn't offer black that I'm aware of.
