I changed the Mag21's also to Manitou 4's and instantly didn't like them. Too firm and short travel..
.So took them off after a week and went back to the Mags.
It's only when I refitted the Mags did I realise they came factory fitted...
........the yellow sticker on the top tube is a bit of a clue. :wink:
Plus nobody in their right mind would disgrace a real Zaskar with such lowly LX tosh! :oops:
Well if you're really interested in the Avalanche frame I would probably sell it after the transplant. You'll be given first refusal on it. :wink:

Went and collected the frame from Buxton yesterday and met the seller. Really nice fella and occasional lurker on here.
He'd owned and cared for the bike from new and was sorry to see it leave and go south. He'd been seduced by younger flesh and had just bought a really nice new Avalanche. At...
It will hopefully be a straight frame swap. All the Avalanche parts will be transplanted onto the Zaskar frame.
It's the same 95 model year and size so hopefully everything will be tickety-boo.
The original spec is mainly LX with XT rear shifter and it's got a nice pair of Mag21's with...
