I'm in the US, btw. I went to the local bike co-op and could only find one for the right side; I need one for the left. There's a NOS set of these things on eBay. I'll probably end up forking over the $20 for it if I can't find it at the next bike shop that sells old parts.

I accidentally broke off the mounting plate for the Shimano Exage Mountain shifter that attaches it to the brake lever. I'm looking for a replacement or advice. Can I JB weld this back together you think?
