Thanks for you replies. I think the guy who had it before me had the noodle removed and hanger added when it was resprayed.

Ok just had a good look and it’s just a build up of clear coat that has got dirty. I had given it a buff with a cloth it’s gone. Obviously anyone interested is free to inspect in detail.

Thanks for the info, there is also the bridge type cable stop for rear canti which is not found on any Kona models that I can see.
