Yes, did give that some thought thanks but the whole point in me riding retro was also to keep the mavic ssc groupset complete, I'm a bit fussy that way, I don't like chopping and changing. I surpose I could keep an eye open for a mavic starfish triple, that would do. Anyone got one ?

Hummmmm, left scratching me head. I want to ride my retro bike in Italy this year but I've only got a 42 inner ring and the biggest at the back that my mavic mech will take is a 24-26. I dout my legs are strong enough to get me up the Stelvio in thoes gears.

I have a mavic chainset and am in need of a 36 or 38 tooth 144 bcd chainring. Any one got one ?

Put this wee thing together over the last while, most of it has been built with mavic ssc. The latest additions are mavic bars and stem as well as getting a set of GP4's on mavic hubs built up. It rides soooooo much better than my only modern bike. I have just aquired the PDM clothing to match...

So, who's going this year ? I've sorted out my concorde fitting it with good old mavic ssc.Going up on the Friday as I've got a wee place near ashborne. A nice easy cycle up to Bakewell will make for a good weekend.

That would be good, a few picks always helps.Does the carrear frame have what's called an intergrated headset ?

Has anyone got an A-Headset to fit a Carrear MTB frame, I shall be fitting a set of indy xc onto it. Any condition will do.
