Update: Seems on a cleaning spree, and putting in the new seat and post, i discovered a number at the top of the seatpost tube, at the back... NP7008519 [EDIT] Upon looking at the serial codes someone linked, i'm guessing it's a November 1987, Nottingham built Raleigh. 8519th one made!

Stem and bars are original, but can't find a number. Not trying to sound stupid, but US versions were different, right?

Hi, i've got an old Raleigh, and i'm looking to replace the Head badge, and the seatpost stem bolt. I've asked Raleigh, and tried Ebay, but can't find what i'm looking for. Are there any good places to buy new parts for older bikes? I'd really like the 125 year Raleigh badge if i could find...

This all helps me narrow it down. I've seen the '84 in a catalogue so i know it isn't that. The number on the bottom bracket is "63118". Does that help? Wish i could post a pic, sorry...

Ah, thankyou for the links. I've been on these 2 at some point, and mine isn't in there. This makes me think it's an '85 - '86 model. Weird thing is though, i've never seen a stock Pursuit anywhere, only what's left of them after being modernised. I'l come back mid-week, should be back then!
