XT m730 crankset 165mm! Rare size? LX gold edition shifters and rear derailleur… Info required 🙏🏼

Tapers look ok from this angle, but more pictures would be good, same with pedal threads. My Missus is considering going down to 165s, so there is a market for them, even if most people prefer longer. What are the pedals, not necessarily any use on my end since we've plenty of flats, but they...

Withdrawn Ernie Clements 58cm Hanbuilt Touring bike, Columbus Cromor tubing Nitto, Simplex, Shimano Parts

Both me and my brother toured on mine. He later got a Dawes Galaxy 853 and said the Simoncini rode better except when under heavy load/ mileage. I raced a bit of Cross on it and herself has regularly done Gravel Rides of up to 100 miles on it. They are great bikes, still handmade in Italy by the...

Withdrawn Ernie Clements 58cm Hanbuilt Touring bike, Columbus Cromor tubing Nitto, Simplex, Shimano Parts

If it's a Simoncini like my missus rides, it should have pretty good clearance- she can fit 700x35 on hers in the winter, not yet tried to see if we could fit something bigger, but if it was something like Challenge that sit lower you probably could run at least their 36 if not 38s.

    breezer cloud 9 1993

Hopefully long since sorted, but just looking at the spec sheet on here and thinking how cool it is that it's clearly been pieced together with what Joe clearly felt were the best parts available. No easy route of just going with one component manufacturer to keep your own costs down.

Show us your Fisher - Gary Fisher

Another one for my fellow Fisher Heads on here. I don't like the seat binder bolt, it's heavy, clunky and unless tightened pretty stiff it slips. Better get it out and measure it before looking for any replacement, but does anyone have an advice on lighter, but effective replacements?

Show us your Fisher - Gary Fisher

Thanks for all the help on this @24pouces Gonna be honest and say that I only do the basics (though have removed and installed BBs before) when it gets to this level. Owner of the (sorta) local bike shop/ cafe Portuer, Paul, has the knowledge and the skills, so will drop him a line. I take it...

Show us your Fisher - Gary Fisher

Can anyone give me any advice on the bottom brackets. There's the tiniest bit of play, like maybe 0.25mm. Is this anything to worry about or an easy fix?

1993 gary fisher procaliber (pre) trek or (post) trek?

Looking at the timeline on MOMBAT and with 94 components, it quite possibly is a Trek. The new range was launched in September 1993, so a top tier bike like the Procaliber would of probably been viewed as a priority. According to Gary's book, the Trek buyout was only a good thing for him, at...
