Re: Free Klein
Its not damaged at all, apart from a small ding in the down tube.
Looks like a Dremel type tool has been used to get rid of the serial number.
Its mine - I bought the Klein from a Police auction of unclaimed property a couple of years ago. The theiving B******s who stole it took the serial number off hence the reason I cant sell it - the is the reason ive never ridden it and now need the space.
I may actually offer it Free on here...
My Zaskar is on ebay now - 16" singlespeed 1995 LE
If it doesnt sell then make me on offer around the £250 mark
The pic shows the included LX cranks before I converted to single speed
Cheers,
Andy

Yeah, just noticed that myself......
Mainly due to the fact I got caught taking the pictures at work and tried to get them on the site without being seen, however - I got caught doing that too!
Just finished building my Zaskar but alas the need for money means I need to sell.
I do have the original LX cranks (the really nice lattice ones) which are in very good condition along with the XT rear mech etc so it can be put back to original if need be.
The DMR V12 pedals are...
i'd say its around about 17"?
They are canti's all round - mostly DX group with Deore thumies
The wheels are matching and they may well be the originals but cant really tell as the decals have worn through age.
Its totally straight with no damage
I bought this as a project but to be honest its a perfectly functioning if not pretty bike.
I'm looking for perhaps a swap for a single speed kit to convert my GT Zaskar? Or a sale.
I live in West London and dont mind delivering in the London area but if your further out then we can meet...
To be honest you get used to it - just building a 650hp engine for my Evo 6, running a gems ecu - thats going to take some mapping. After spending about £6k on the engine i think I may well be a bit nervous :o
