Nice and stayed with the geometry. I wish I cold have but need a suspension fork.

Would like to see any 69/96 er retros and what you think of the conversion. Mine is a 98 Klein Mantra Race, just converted her back to a 69er and it feels alive again.

from my understanding the crown race is headset specific. you may find one close but if you don't get one specific for your headset it my be sloppy or overlap completely. i'm not sure about the split-crown race but the non-split-crown race should be very snug fit.

I don't think anyone believes a klein mantra would make a good dh bike. I just have three forks that I have that I can use. Right now I enjoy it being a 69er but plan on changing it out during the summer to one of the other two. Right now thinking about the super T and that doesn't mean I'm...

Cool. So the triple clamp on your mantra, how does it feel and now much travel do you have?

I've looked around and it looks like some people have put triple crowns on their Klein like DaveP_retro. I think I'll give it a try. Looked on Bikepedia and doesn't look like any of the Mantras came that way, but you never know. :twisted:

Question I have a question and need a little advice. I have two options for forks 1) 2001 MARZOCCHI SUPER T 26" and 2) original 1998 Answer Manitou SX 26". Which one should I use?

maneuverability Can't say that I lost any maneuverability, but plan on changing back to 26" midway through the summer to really see what I lost. After I made the change in all the excitement I may have forgotten how the 26" felt and its been a few years now.
