I made the tool to remove a 2000 Lefty damper which is the one you describe. The tabs on it are smaller than the later 2001 damper. You need the other half of the 2001 tool to remove it but it comes out in the same manner.
Hi I am looking for a resonably priced Medium Cannondale F1 to F7 series frame. Really only looking for the frame to add my own components to. Paint condition is not important as I will get it powdercoated. As long as the threads are good and there is no significant damage to the frame.

Thanks But it was a newer frame I was after as they can take bigger tyres. I managed to get one but it is pretty bashed about so would still consider a 2007 plus frame.

I would recommend learning how to do it yourself. The headshok forks are great and will last a long time but they need to be looked after. Even if you resolve the painting issue you are going to need to service the fork in use.

Looking for a Cannondale frame around the 2009-2011 era for 26" wheels in a medium. Only need the frame. As long as the frame is sound I am not bothered about the paint finish.

I Have rebuilt a few headshoks and lefties. The only thing I would be wary of is making sure you can get your hands on all the other parts before you spend any more money on the fork. To use that damper I suspect you will need the air cylinder and piston. I have not looked at a drawing of...
